Oregon- and Douglas pine slats form this eye suspended in space.

The lower big beam is sawn in to the last few millimeters, bent, glued and clamped to form the eyelashes. 

The inner eye or wisdom eye at the center of this work is from an old diseased tree.

Its center is hollowed out by nature.

With your wisdom eye it is said you can filter your thoughts and fight negative tendencies.

Treated with oil (smoked oak), this sculpture will stand the test of time.
